Job Description:
Accounting Assistant / Junior Staff AccountantResponsibilities*
Assist Controller with Month-End Close, G/L analysis and
reconciliations* Assist with the day-to-day accounting operation
activities and month end processes* Help maintain responsibilities
for the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions* Perform
cash flow analysis and forecasting* Specific duties include:
Tracking receipts, posting client payments and all facets of
accounts payable.Skills* In-depth knowledge of Quickbooks and
familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP),
balance sheet and income statement methods, internal controls, and
other areas related to financial reporting requirements* Proficient
in Microsoft Office Suite (Advance level Excel - Pivot Tables, V-
Lookups and Filters).* Candidates must have the ability to analyze
and solve accounting/financial problems; adapt to changing
organizational and operational needs and work collaboratively with
all departments and management levels within the company.*
Candidates must also be very organized with the ability to
prioritize and pay special attention to details.Education&
Experience* Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 2+
years of experience in accounting, industry accounting or
consulting services industry.* Accounting experience should
include: Month-end close, G/L analysis and financial reporting*
Candidates must have a strong ability to communicate
(verbal/written) with all levels of management within the
organization to meet performance expectations. Candidates must have
solid accounting skills.Required experience/expertise:* Excel
PivotTables, V-Lookups* Quickbooks Expertise* Accounting: 2
yearsCompensation PackageSalary, 401k, Health Insurance, Profit
Sharing and Paid VacationStarting Salary Range: Commensurate with
