This position serves in the receptionist role at the nursing station; handles incoming and outgoing communications; processes physician’s orders; and maintains charts, records, supplies and, equipment. The Unit Secretary accurately performs computer related tasks. Additional Job Description Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Work Experience: None. Certification: Basic Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire. Thereafter, must maintain. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
