Job Description Job Description Electrician Responsible for fabricating, installing, inspecting, testing, operating, repairing and maintaining all types of electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment in a safe and orderly manner as directed by a Maintenance Supervisor/Crew leader. Five (5) years industrial electrical maintenance experience. Formal Apprenticeship or equivalent trades training is desirable. Vocational or high school graduate or equivalent. Shipyard river harbor north; Ship comes to their dock; materials come off ship to hopper; it hits different belts before it gets to go; emptying ships; just bc you sign up to be an electrician doesn’t mean you wont be in the shop changing oil; may go into shiphole; crawl out from IO panel; 480 step downs PLC troubleshooting Maintenance and troubleshooting of IO cabinet/panel
