Job Description Job Summary The Electrician Assembly Team Leader
is a hands-on working leader responsible for guiding a team of
electricians in the electrical assembly and wiring of manufactured
equipment and systems. This role balances active participation on
the floor with day-to-day leadership, ensuring electrical
assemblies are built safely, accurately, and on schedule to meet
production and quality requirements. Primary Job Responsibilities
/n - Lead a team of electricians in hands-on electrical assembly,
wiring, and installation of manufactured products /n - Actively
perform electrical work alongside the team as needed /n - Assign
daily work, monitor progress, and adjust priorities to meet
production schedules /n - Read, interpret, and execute work from
electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material /n -
Ensure assemblies meet engineering specifications, quality
standards, and safety requirements /n - Troubleshoot electrical and
assembly issues and provide technical guidance to team members /n -
Perform inspections and functional testing of completed electrical
assemblies /n - Enforce electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout
procedures, and company policies /n - Coordinate with Engineering,
Production, and Quality teams to resolve design or build issues /n
- Train and mentor electricians and assemblers; support onboarding
and skill development /n - Maintain a clean, organized, and
efficient work area (5S principles) /n - Identify opportunities for
process improvements and increased manufacturing efficiency /n /n
Job Requirements: /n - Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent
electrical certification /n - 5 years of experience in electrical
assembly or industrial/manufacturing electrical work /n - Previous
experience as a lead, senior electrician, or supervisor preferred
/n - Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and
technical drawings /n - Working knowledge of NEC, electrical safety
standards, and industrial best practices /n - Proven
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills /n /n Skills &
Competencies: /n - Hands-on leadership and team coordination /n -
Strong communication and coaching skills /n - High attention to
detail and commitment to build quality /n - Ability to manage
workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment /n - Mechanical
aptitude and comfort working with tools and test equipment /n -
Basic computer skills for documentation and production tracking /n
/n Working Conditions: /n - Manufacturing/production environment /n
- Regular standing, bending, lifting, and use of hand and power
tools /n - Occasional overtime may be required to meet production
deadlines /n /n Reporting Structure: /n - Reports to: Electrical
Supervisor / Production Manager /n - Supervises: Electricians and
