Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
provide support for K-12 students during the Extended School Year
(ESY) program. The position is based in Georgetown, DE, with a
contract running from June 29th through July 23rd. The role offers
a structured schedule of 30 hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 3:30
PM, including a staff set-up day. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
speech and language evaluations and provide therapy to support
student communication needs. Develop and implement individualized
treatment plans aligned with student goals. Collaborate with
educational staff to ensure effective integration of speech therapy
within classroom settings. Maintain accurate documentation and
progress reports as required. Participate in interdisciplinary team
meetings and parent conferences as needed. Desired Qualifications
and Experience: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with school-age
children (K-12) in a school setting. Knowledge of speech-language
pathology assessment tools and intervention strategies applicable
to diverse student populations. Strong communication and
collaborative skills to work effectively with educators, families,
and students. Ability to manage a caseload efficiently within a
