Job Description:

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Onsite School Psychologist to join our team, working directly within schools to foster the mental health and emotional well-being of students with special needs. As an integral part of our commitment to educational excellence, the School Psychologist will collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students. The role involves conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling, and developing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) tailored to the specific emotional and educational needs of students. Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning and diagnosis. Develop and implement effective Individual Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff. Provide direct support and counseling to students facing emotional, academic, and social challenges. Advise educational staff and families on strategies to address behavioral and educational challenges. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic educational and developmental strategies. Maintain confidential student records and communicate findings in compliance with federal and state regulations. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational psychology best practices. Expertise in psychological assessment tools and techniques Ability to develop and implement IEPs Strong counseling and crisis intervention skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in data analysis and performance tracking Adaptability to various educational environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state certification/licensure in school psychology Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred
