Training/Mentoring Program:

The cloud engineer position is tailored toward individuals that want to develop hands-on experience in working in the cloud and supporting our customers. The ideal candidate will need to be a problem solver and critical thinker and someone who loves to get their hands on technology. If you have a background in working in customer support or working in an environment such as logistics, mechanical, financial or teaching backgrounds and want a hands-on technical position then this opportunity may be for you.

Basic Functions

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for providing support to our existing customer base in managing the cloud infrastructure. The position involves both helpdesk support functions as well as system configurations and software installs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborating with senior cloud engineering and development teams to support and maintain existing cloud environments.
• Learning and sharing knowledge on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Review monthly cloud expenditure and coordinate with teams to support cost optimizations.
• Continuous education on latest cloud technologies and develop understanding how this technology can be leveraged to meet our customer needs.
• Support DevSecOps (Software development and Security lifecycle) in meeting our customers needs .
• Support in the documentation of requirements
• Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs. Other Duties

  Job Qualifications:
