Job Description Job Description Quality Technician - LOCATED OFF CLEMENTS FERRY RD Job Description As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for mixing and matching paints and coatings based on formulas, samples, and customer specifications. You will prepare and test color technologies and methods, adjusting for accurate color matching. Additionally, you will create custom color samples and update color formula databases, ensuring precise and consistent results. The role includes reviewing preliminary mixtures for color, texture, and finish, performing necessary corrections, and completing documentation for color matching processes and results. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment following 5S principles, spray paint samples, and wear a respirator when necessary. Responsibilities Mix and match paints and coatings based on formulas, samples, and customer specifications. Prepare and test color technologies and methods; adjust for accurate color matching. Create custom color samples and update color formula databases. Review preliminary mixtures for color, texture, and finish; perform necessary corrections. Complete documentation for color matching processes and results. Maintain a clean and safe work environment following 5S principles. Spray paint samples and wear a respirator as required. Essential Skills Quality inspection, Quality assurance, and Quality control experience. Strong initiative to learn, team player, positive attitude. Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. Color matching expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to stay calm and patient during trial and error processes. Number-oriented mindset. Experience in a color matching role within the automotive painting industry. Ability to wear a respirator. Why Work Here? The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime available and no weekend work required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Pleasant, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $55000.00/yr. - Direct employee from Day 1 - 10 paid holidays - No weekends - Overtime as wanted - Climate controlled - Strong benefits Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Mount Pleasant,SC.
