The Director of Revenue Management is responsible for overseeing the revenue management processes in order to maximize rooms revenue and identify trends. Implements selling strategies, pricing, and inventory restrictions that capture the optimal revenue providing business to meet company revenue goals for the hotel.


  • Manage room and rate availability per company guidelines to maximize occupancy, ADR, and overall room revenue and market share.
  • Ensure that sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented and modified as market conditions fluctuate.
  • Proactively communicates rate restrictions and strategy.
  • Regularly check distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning.
  • Manage hotel pricing and provide input on business evaluation recommendations, including third party contracts and group quotes.
  • Manage and monitor all hotel content and pricing on website, in GDS and on all third party distribution channels.
  • Prepare annual rooms revenue budget along with Director of Sales & Marketing, as well as long term and short term forecasting.
  • Assist Sales Team with evaluating leads, group pricing, and monthly reporting.
  • Assist Group Reservations Coordinator with managing existing room blocks.
  • Run daily and weekly revenue reports to monitor performance, and conduct weekly revenue meetings with hotel teams to provide feedback and suggestions.
  • Understand and utilize other Market Intelligence tools like STAR, Hotelligence and Rateview to formulate appropriate pricing and channel optimization strategies.


    The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of Revenue Management experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
    • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with hotel systems such as Central Reservations Systems, Property Management Systems, Sales Systems and/or Revenue Management Systems,
    • Comfortable with numeric analysis and a high standard of presentation and communication skills.
    • Ability to think clearly, analyze and resolve problems and exercise good judgement under high pressure or emergency situations.
