    • Maintain Resident/Client schedules and assign Caregivers appropriately
    • Maintain Caregiver availability and scheduling
    • Supervise staff and assist with hiring, written performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations as applicable
    • Orient and train new staff
    • Provide initial introduction of Caregivers to new Residents/Clients
    • Provide a timely response to Resident/Client requests in a caring manner
    • Answer incoming calls and direct to the appropriate person as needed
    • Communicate new schedules, changes in client status, and any other pertinent information to Director in a timely manner
    • Communicate changes to schedules, changes in client status, and any other pertinent information to Caregivers in a timely manner
    • Ensure Care Plans are current in MatrixCare/Soneto and a copy is in every Client's/Resident's Communication binder
    • Collect necessary charting from Client/Resident communication binder in a timely manner for all Long-Term Care Billing
    • Ensure that client appointments are relayed to the appropriate staff, including transportation and department supervisor/charge nurse
    • Perform Caregiver duties as needed
    • Answer BG at Home on-call phone Monday thru Thursday after hours and as needed
    • Conduct Quality Assurance visits as requested by Director
    • Work with other team members to coordinate various aspects of clients' care
    • Work with Residents/Clients and their families on various issues that may arise to ensure they are getting resolutions to issues as well as receiving the services needed
    • Accept other duties as needed to serve clients of Bishop Gadsden with efficiency and careQualifications
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are necessary for exchanging information as well as maintaining a courteous relationship with the residents, families, visitors and Bishop Gadsden employees
      • Ability to direct daily activities with little or no supervision
      • Ability to read, write, speak and communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written in English
      • Ability to read and comprehend numbers and written material
      • Must present a well-groomed professional appearance and demonstrate a courteous, friendly, patient and congenial manner at all timesRequired Education and Experience
        • High school diploma or equivalent required
        • 2 years scheduling or staffing experience in health/home care required
        • CNA license preferred
        • Experience in using Computer Scheduling Software preferredJB.0.00.LN
