The Role

At Obviouslee, the Marketing Manager is proactive and passionate about marketing and innovation. They build long-lasting relationships with our clients, the media and partners, always striving to find opportunities to generate successful campaigns. They are comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities with a focus on social media, as well as long-term strategy. Thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs come natural to this individual. A Marketing Manager can establish a shared vision with our clients and consistently champion it to keep a project on track.

Daily activities related to this position:

  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
  • Identify target audiences and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Execute plans and manage social media accounts for clients
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Create, maintain and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms to extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies
  • Ensure the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
  • Work in partnership with the creative team to collaborate on design direction and to meet objectives for all print, digital and video assets
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, then optimize accordingly
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams
  • Communicate with the Team Lead about marketing programs, strategies and budget
  • Act as the main point-of-contact with clients, becoming the liaison between the client and our internal teams

    • Three to five years experience working in a marketing role
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a closely related field preferred
    • Curious, collaborative and creative by nature
    • Self-starter with a drive to generate new ideas and take initiative
    • Big picture thinker
    • Thrive in a high-energy environment
    • Strong organization and project management skills
    • Understanding of social media channels and best practices for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and other emerging platforms
    • Experience in project management, social media management and community management
    • Knowledgeable, passionate storyteller who loves to create and define authentic messages for diverse audiences
    • Well-versed in content creation and brand management
    • Experience creating reports and dashboards for monthly reporting
    • Experience working in marketing for the lifestyle and spirits industry
    • Strong relationships with spirits and consumer media outlets preferred
    • Quick judgment and an excellent understanding of the current state of mind of the media
    • Agency experience a plus
