operational indicators or performance goals. We are seeking a
Manager of Patient Access for Trident Medical Center to ensure that
we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient
care. Trident Medical Center is a 321-bed major medical center
providing a comprehensive range of services and specialties,
including a 24-hour emergency room (ER) and a Level II Trauma
Center. The hospital's offerings include an award-winning Heart
Center, the South Carolina Institute for Robotic Surgery, the
Trident Breast Care Center, and the Joseph M. Still Burn Clinicthe
region's only outpatient burn clinic offering services to patients
of all ages. Trident Medical Center offers critical care services
and 24/7 access to hospitalists and intensivists. For more than 40
years, Trident Medical Center has proudly served patients and
families in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties. As the
Manager of Patient Access you will be responsible for assisting the
Director in daily operations of all Patient Access functions and
serves as the liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and
the facility. What you will do in this role: Perform patient
registration function when needed to ensure wait times are kept to
a minimum Model AIDET guidelines in all interactions with the
patient and ensure staff are adhering to the patient experience
expectations. Ensure QA on registrations for all areas of
Registration Provide continuous training for and communicates
changes to existing employees Prepare payroll and completes monthly
work schedules as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels
Follow-up on patient complaints promptly Bachelors Degree in
Business or related field required. Equivalent work experience may
substitute education requirements. Minimum three years experience
in related area with two of these years being healthcare management
experience OR completion of the Parallon Manager Trainee Program.
