Manager Here at Green Rock, we are an industry leader in waste
logistics, recycling, and disposal across the United States. We are
seeking to hire a Project Manager to manage the organization of key
client projects. The Project Manager will oversee and lead various
projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a
strong track record of managing projects from initiation through
completion, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time,
within scope, and within budget. As a Project Manager, you will
work closely with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and
contribute to the successful achievement of organizational goals.
The Project Manager will report to the Vice President of
Operations. Essential Functions Project Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed project plans, outlining timelines, resources,
budget requirements, and risk assessments. Lead project teams to
meet objectives within designated timeframes and budget
constraints. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and coordinate
cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Provide guidance
and support throughout the project lifecycle to keep the team
focused and on track. Stakeholder Management: Communicate
effectively with key stakeholders, including clients, executives,
and team members. Keep stakeholders informed of project progress,
milestones, and risks, and ensure alignment with their
expectations. Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential project
risks and obstacles early, developing and implementing mitigation
plans to prevent delays or disruptions. Proactively address issues
that arise during the project and resolve conflicts quickly and
efficiently. Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets,
ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Track
expenses and resource allocation to optimize project delivery.
Quality Control: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards
and client requirements. Implement quality assurance processes
throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status
reports, project timelines, and issue logs. Provide regular updates
to senior management and stakeholders. Continuous Improvement:
Analyze project performance and identify opportunities for process
improvements. Contribute to enhancing project management best
practices within the organization. Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands Must be able to access and navigate all areas of
the construction site in all types of weather Ability to sit for
extended periods and use a computer Occasional travel to project
sites or other company locations may be required Must be able to
lift up to 40 pounds at times Preferred Education and Experience 3
years of experience in office management in a corporate setting.
Required Skills/Abilities Experience in industrial waste management
industries. Organizational Skills Ability to manage multiple
priorities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal
communication skills to interact with all levels of staff and
vendors. Adaptability- Comfortable with change and able to adjust
