Digital Media Account Director Location: Charleston, South Carolina, United States Full-time TITLE: ACCOUNT DIRECTOR LOCATION: Charleston, SC STATUS: Full-Time Exempt EDUCATION: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred SUMMARY Levelwing is a unique company that provides our team members with unique opportunities to grow in the fast-paced digital world. As an Account Director, you are a leader in terms of strategy, growth and service delivery for our clients and you play a highly influential role with how you engage with our client contacts each day. In the role of Account Director, you will partner with clients to grow their business, lead integrated digital projects and be a strategic partner across internal teams to develop innovative digital solutions for your assigned client portfolio. The Account Director should be passionate, positive and have experience in working with complex client accounts and helping them run like well-oiled machines The Account Director must deal with a variety of internal and external personalities and a commitment to communicating well and building relationships is critical. There are also numerous high-pressure situations that arise internally and externally due to client expectations and aggressive deadlines so the Account Director should work well under pressure and know how to motivate team members to rise to ever-changing challenges. The Account Director must also possess the vision to be able to understand the numerous business objectives for our clients and translate those into effective and efficient strategies that drive real results. Having a solid understanding of the digital agency business and a strong working knowledge of the various digital media channels is preferred, but we are truly looking for someone who can be a great leader and mentor for our team and for our clients, as well as be someone that always seeks to find opportunities to grow our clients' business. We also like to have fun and have numerous team events each year including Amazing Races across downtown Charleston and our infamous talent show appropriately called "Let Your Freak Flag Fly" KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES : Absolutely Must Have: -- Experienced leader / mentor of digital teams and clients -- Deep project management experience -- Experience in playing a pivotal role in growing a business -- Flexible, self-starter with the ability to take ownership of numerous, fast-moving projects at once -- Strategic thinker with proven ability to build and grow client relationships -- Ability to analyze data and information and translate into actionable strategies -- Ability to create presentations and tell a great story -- Strong written, verbal and visual communication -- The desire to pick up the phone and talk to clients versus solely relying on electronic messaging -- Flexibility to travel (20%) Would be Awesome to Have (but not necessary): -- A strong working knowledge of digital media channels, including paid search, paid social and programmatic -- Experience in both the B2B and B2C worlds -- Business analytics experience - web analytics or otherwise -- eCommerce expertise -- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills -- Experience in selling in a service-based business KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : -- Have a full understanding of all primary and tertiary business goals for your clients, as well as short and long term pain points and opportunities that are important to each of the client stakeholders on the account -- Prepare ongoing Statements of Work for your clients and ensure efficiency delivery against those scopes -- Active role at all in-person, strategic client meetings -- Accountability for strategic documents delivered to clients (I.e., major strategy presentations, quarterly reports, etc.) -- Support onboarding process for all new clients entering your client portfolio -- Offer counsel and recommendations to both clients and internal team members based on the clients' needs and channel objectives -- Develop a relationship with the direct client contact as well as the person they report to -- Thorough and ongoing research of client business and industry to ensure you understand not only media performance, as well as risks and opportunities for their business overall -- Encompass a full understanding of company-wide capabilities at Levelwing to ensure all opportunities are understood as it relates to current accounts -- Work with Department Directors to integrate non-media departments to ensure accounts are operating with the most effective team members and are being tracked properly, both financially through internal tracking systems -- Work with Media Director to develop ongoing media plans and deliver new opportunities to clients -- Conduct quarterly business reviews both internally and externally -- Responsible for the oversight and assistance, when needed, of end-to-end transition timelines and progress when team members are rolling onto and off your accounts -- Ensure quality work from team to meet/exceed client expectations DISCLAIMER: The above job description is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position and in no way is to be construed as a contract.
