It all begins with you.The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Our guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.The Wells Fargo Merchant Services (WFMS) team is accepting applications for 1 Division Sales Manager (DSM) to lead the following region:

  • East Division (FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, NJ)The DSM position is flexible to multiple locations within the geographic region the DSM leads. It is strongly preferred that the DSM reside within the geographic region that he/she leads.The Division Sales Manager will be responsible for the following:Lead/Manage the WFMS Sales Team that supports 1 or more Commercial Banking divisions with very broad customer bands from $5MM to $2Billion. Ensure proper coverage to serve client needs and help uncover opportunity to add value. Develop and maintain relationships with top clients, bringing insight and fostering trusted status over time. Develop strategy to appropriately leverage all areas of expertise for the client. Partner across all aspects of the business that help serve our clients.Drive the business by creating and executing on joint strategies by sharing insights using joint call on top clients. Expectation includes:
    • Develop new ideas to drive efficiency, customer loyalty, and improved business results.
    • Inspire, engage, influence and lead by example. Proactively seek, give and apply feedback. Motivate and enable team member performance through clear objectives and expectations, ongoing feedback and coaching. Make decisions with a One Wells Fargo view.
    • Making sound, well-informed and timely decisions even when data is limited or solutions produce unpleasant consequences.
    • Innovate; frequently encourage others to consider new approaches and ideas.Through teams of managers and individual contributors, build a High Performance Team by developing and coaching teams to success. Recognize and reward team members for doing the right thing for the customer. Ensure Collaborative Teams are built by managing group processes, facilitating cooperation, pride, trust and group identity, fostering commitment and team spirit. As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:
      • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
      • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

        Required Qualifications
        • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, business development, payment processing industry or treasury management

          Desired Qualifications
          • Management experience for management level direct reports
          • Extensive knowledge and understanding of treasury management, payment processing industry or bank operations
          • Business development, sales/treasury management, or products/services sales experience
          • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
          • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
          • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
          • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
          • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
          • Experience driving and leading organizational change in a dynamic environment
          • Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions
          • Experience with strategy development and implementation
          • Ability to recruit, retain, and grow high potential talent/teams

            Other Desired Qualifications
            • Senior level leadership experience managing a complex organization including senior managers, managers, individual contributors
            • Extensive knowledge and understanding of treasury management, payment processing industry or bank operations Business development, sales/treasury management, or products/services sales experience
            • Demonstrated ability to transform business and lead a team in an environment of significant transformation, bringing together 2 teams with common identity & approach

              Job Expectations
              • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
