The PositionInside Sales Senior Manager At Palmetto we are leading the world to a clean energy future. We are seeking a qualified and experienced--Inside Sales Senior Manager--to continue Palmetto's rapid growth in residential solar sales markets across the United States. Our ideal inside sales manager will have in-depth knowledge of, and experience with, the entire sales process. Our ideal candidate should excel at B2C sales generation through their development and implementation of coaching, training and recruiting. This person will possess a track record of success in inside sales management for a minimum of 10 years. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, and motivate sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance virtual sales force. This position is based in beautiful downtown Charleston, SC, reporting to the Director of Sales. Main Position Objectives:Achieve company sales and contract objectives through effective planning, goal setting, analyzing performance metrics & data, along with accurately forecasting future sales performance.Create and execute strategic sales plans that expand the customer base and extends inside sales reach across all Palmetto current and future sales markets. Strategic Objectives:Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet themManage, hire, train, motivate, and coach a team of experienced B2C/B2B inside sales representativesCertify that the Inside Sales Team is up to date on all Palmetto products, services, and pricingEnsure inside sales represents our company professionally, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.Manage lead generation while building and nurturing client relationships.Flag and develop areas of bottlenecks for improvementsAchieve excellent net promoter score (NPS) and drive communication feedback loopsIdentify team improvements and development sales opportunitiesIdentify individual improvements and development for sales repsTrack, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics to Senior Management. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. This is a largely sedentary role, however, the person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively to exchange accurate information with other employees.
