The Director of Neuroscience Services serves as a key contact for neurosurgicalcases and stroke medical patients, ensures that the patient population servedhas a safe, high quality, efficient delivery of care throughout the continuumof care.-- Monitors to assure all qualitybenchmarks are reached by planning and implementation of clinical protocols andpractice management guidelines, participates in case reviews, and is involvedin stroke education and prevention programs internally and in thecommunity.---- Helps facilitate achievingand maintaining accreditation as a Thrombectomy Capable Center via Jointcommission via standards put forth by the accreditation committee. Supervisesperformance improvement analysis and data entry into the trauma registry whileexhibiting professionalism in dealing with confidential information.-- Established and facilitates plan to achievecomprehensive stroke certification in collaboration with co-chairs ofneurosurgical services and stroke medical director. Develop neuroscienceservices for Trident Health. Represents the neurosurgical/stroke program invarious hospital, community, and state committees to enhance optimal strokecare management.-- Job may include directsupervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor.-- Employee must have the same licensure or havecompleted the same training to satisfy the requirements of the discipline ofthe student.-- Direct supervision meansthe primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift.
