work you'll do here:The Speech Therapist provides speech therapy
and rehabilitative services to clients with language or
communication disorders, swallowing difficulties and other related
problems.
Evaluate the client's level of
functioning and determine the type of speech and or language
disorder and appropriate corrective therapyCompletes thorough and
knowledgeable in-home assessment, implementation and revision of
care plan to improve client's abilitiesObserves, records, and
reports any change in the client's condition, response to the
therapy and/or suggestions for changes in the plan of
treatment/care to the physicianFollows all regulations, laws and
policies involved with the plan of careParticipates as a member of
the interdisciplinary team conference and confers on the client's
progress whenever neededPrepares clinical records (initial
evaluations, plans of care, progress notes, discharge summaries)
and submits them for the client clinical record in a timely
mannerInstructs other health care personnel and staff members in
methods of assisting the client to improve and correct speech
disabilitiesCompletes other assignments and duties as requested and
assigned to accomplish the goals and objectives of the CompanyWhat

them.One (1) year experience as a Speech/Language Pathologist or as
required by law Possess a certificate of clinical competence in
speech/language pathology granted by the American
Speech/Language/Hearing Association. Current CPR certificationValid
