Job Description Summary
The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Division of
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry is seeking a full time Psychiatrist
to provide clinical services for the Shawn Jenkins Children's
Hospital + Pearl Tourville Women's Health Pavilion. The clinical
responsibilities will consist primarily of working as a consultant
and liaison for the Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital + Pearl
Tourville Women's Health Pavilion providing psychiatric
consultation and care to patients in inpatient and urgent care in
that facility.
Supervise and provide education to C&A Fellows and other APPs
who help staff this service. Provide supervision for general
residents and fellows in the Child and Adolescent Outpatient MUSC
ED Walk in Clinic. Help to establish care for families who were
recently seen in the MUSC Pediatric Emergency Room. While this is a
reasonable outline of the expected duties at the time of signing,
this could change somewhat depending on operational needs of the
division and the candidate's personal and academic goals.

Minimum Requirements: Must hold a M.D. or D.O. or related
degree.
