Companion - Caregiver - Overnight\n Our Bishop Gadsden at Home Department is seeking Companion/Caregiver team members to provide in home support to clients that promotes independence and mobility with an emphasis on emotional, psychological and social well-being. The successful candidate will have compassion for and the desire to work with the elderly. We are currently seeking PRN (as needed) staff available for overnight (11pm-7am).\n Responsibilities\n\nAssist clients with Activities of Daily Living\nProvide light housekeeping duties and meal preparation as needed\nLaunder client's personal items as needed.\nAssist clients with appointment scheduling and transportation to activities of their choice\nProvide transportation at client's request\nAccompany client to meals at their request\nExercise standard precautions of infection control in all client care\nObserve and report any change in client condition\nCommunicate and cooperate with other members of multidisciplinary healthcare team to accomplish plan of care\nDocument client care efficiently and accurately\n\n Qualifications\n\nMust be at least 18 years old\nAble to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, reach above head, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written\nWillingness to travel to clients throughout Charleston County\nHas reliable transportation\n\n Required Education and Experience\n\nHigh school graduate or equivalent \nHas 1 year of personal or professional experience as a companion or caregiver\n\n Be BG!
