DescriptionThe Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is
seeking a faculty member and an attending to provide clinical
services at 50% effort as an inpatient Psychiatrist in the
Psychiatry Hospitalist Division, and 50% effort in the new Access
Bridge Clinic at the Medical University of South Carolina
(MUSC).Candidate will be a faculty member of the Psychiatry
Hospitalists Division and provide inpatient care across all adult
inpatient units for attendings on leave, as well as backup support
for the adult consult services on campus. Candidates may also
potentially provide supervision for students, residents, and
fellows.Candidate may also be required to cover some night call and
weekend coverage as part of their clinical effort.In the outpatient
Access Bridge clinic, candidate will provide psychiatric management
to patients waiting to be scheduled into the various outpatient and
specialty psych clinics.Candidate must be a psychiatrist with the
ability to hold an unrestricted license to practice in South
