Medical Center!Job Summary and QualificationsWhat you will do in
this role:
- You will be responsible for clinical practice on the
PCU/Telemetry specialty units
- You will function as a member of a multi-disciplinary, unit
based team to provide nursing expertise
- You will lead quality care initiatives, guide clinical
performance, and improve patient outcomes and patient safety by
using evidenced based practice
- You will serve as the unit's primary preceptor for all new
staff members and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to
ensure successful onboarding -
- You will recognize practice opportunities with new staff
members and work with the team to remove barriers and enhance
evidenced based practice standardsWhat qualifications you will
need:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing:
Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you
practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red
Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is
required
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red
Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is
preferred and required to be obtained within 90 days months of
hire/transfer date
- Minimum of 3-5 years of acute PCU and Telemetry nursing
experience is required -Trident Health is a 445-bed HCA Healthcare
hospital system comprised of two acute care hospitals, Trident
Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center and three
freestanding emergency departments, Brighton Park Emergency, Moncks
Corner Medical Center and Centre Pointe Emergency. We provide care
