• Certification Details
• BLS required
• ACLS - Required for: Adult critical care units, Cath Lab (Techs and RNs), ER, ICU, Interventional Radiology, PACU, PCU, PreOp, Observation Unit. Not required for pediatric units.
• PALS - Required for all Pediatric units except Peds OR.
• NRP - As required.
• CHEMO - Only required for Oncology Hospital Unit.
• TNCC - Not required for ER RNs.

  • Position/Specialty: MS Float pool RN
  • Will work 3x12hr nights 7p-730a, 36 hours/week
  • Weekend REQ: EOW
  • Holiday rotation required
  • Is on call REQ: N/A
  • **will not have a home unit** Will float to med surg floors at the Main hospital and Ashley River tower
  • Ratios-may vary depending on unit assigned (1:6 is average for MS)
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs.
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

  • Scrub Color: All RNs - Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms.
  • Charting: EPIC
  • Parking Cost: Parking management office to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred.
  • Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
