Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience: 2-3 years of Medical Surgical experience License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs Job Description: - Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including holiday rotations - Weekend requirement: Every Other Weekend - Manage a patient ratio of 1:4-5 - Open to first-time applicants - Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted on a case-by-case basis - Non-local candidates are prioritized - RTO (Request for Time Off) is due at the time of submission; changes after submission are not accepted - Previous perm staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler - Prioritize candidates with an active SC license; those with pending licenses are still considered with proof of application - Non-billable orientation hours: 16 - Completion of required modules pre-start, included in non-billable hours - Required to respond during hurricane season if needed, from June through November, with peak months in August and September This opportunity is within a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital with 820 staffed beds. The facility uses EPIC charting.
