Job Description:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist assists physicians in the
performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by
preparing the patient and operating the nuclear medicine equipment
in order to obtain diagnostic scans. Administers
radiopharmaceuticals and medications to obtain diagnostic images
and/or provides therapy as ordered by physician. Performs quality
care to pediatric through adult patients using professional and
ethical judgment along with critical thinking in performing
duties.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist assists physicians in the

in order to obtain diagnostic scans. Performs quality care to
pediatric through adult patients using professional and ethical
judgment along with critical thinking in performing duties.
Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB recognized Nuclear Medicine Program
required. Work Experience: 0-2 years in Radiologic experienceMust
be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the NMTCB
or Registered Technologist (RT (N)) from ARRT or registry eligible.
Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards
Association (SCRQSA) required. The Medical University of South
