If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred.4 East is a 17-bed mixed acuity Cardiothoracic Acute Care Unit. 4 East cares for all cardiothoracic patients both pre and post cardiac and thoracic surgery. These surgeries include but are not limited to heart transplants, lung transplants, left ventricular assist devices, coronary artery bypass grafts (CABGs), valve replacements, lobectomies, esophagectomies, and thoracotomies. The stepdown patients are staffed 1:3 while the medical surgical patients are staffed 1:4-1:5Hurricane Season Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September. We will still consider candidates with a pending license at the time of submission please provide proof that they have applied for the license or confirm that they can complete the SC walk-through process.
