The position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The nurse
will work three 12-hour night shifts with holiday rotation. The
role does not require being on-call. Travelers may need to float
within the scope to meet facility needs. First-time travelers are
accepted for this position. A radiation badge will be provided by
the agency. The hospital is a Level 1 trauma center with 21
Operating Room suites. Surgeries involve various specialties,
including trauma and robotics. The nursing team consists of a mix
of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists.
Registered Nurses are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical
procedures. This department is recognized as Magnet designated. The
facility offers cutting-edge technology for patient care. Local
candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requests
for time off must be included at the time of application. The
facility may call off one shift every two weeks. Travelers should
be prepared for emergency response assignments during hurricane
