Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/16/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Hot Interventional Radiology Tech Opportunity! A new IR Tech travel contract is now open for immediate placement! Join a high-acuity hospital setting where your technical skills in interventional radiology will make a real difference in patient outcomes. Position Details: - Start Date: November 17, 2025 - Location: Charleston, SC - Schedule: 4x10 Days | 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (rotating day off) - Occasional Week: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. - Contract Length: 13 Weeks - Daily Caseload: 5–8 procedures per tech - On-Call: Yes — 1 weeknight every other week, 1–2 weekends during contract, and 1 possible holiday Requirements: - ARRT (R), BLS, and active South Carolina license (or eligible) - Minimum 1 year of IR Tech experience - Experience in Vascular Access, Embolization, Dialysis Work, PE Thrombectomy - Must provide own radiation badge - Level 1 Trauma experience - No local candidates within 60 miles (locals may be accepted at adjusted rate) Preferred Experience: - Y90 Implant, Chemo Embolization - Previous Level 1 Trauma hospital exposure Additional Details: - Teaching hospital environment - Epic charting system - Navy scrubs provided - Parking available (one-time pass fee applies) - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) - COVID-19 vaccine not required Note: During hurricane season (June–November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.
