HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Title: MRI Technologist Location: Charleston, SC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) — Friday to Sunday Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements - Perform MRI scans using Siemens equipment following established protocols. - Operate both mobile MRI units (Fridays until 5 PM) and main facility MRI (after 5 PM Friday through Sunday). - Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures ensuring safety and comfort. - Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists. - Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma environment. - Work holidays if they fall within scheduled shifts. - Follow Epic charting and hospital documentation standards. Required Qualifications: - Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required. - ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required. - BLS certification required. - Experience with Siemens MRI systems required. - First-time travelers accepted. Preferred Qualifications: - Level 1 Trauma experience preferred. - Strong technical and communication skills.
