About The Position We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in West Virginia, starting Jan 5, 2026. This 84-day opportunity features a 7 on / 7 off schedule with 16-hour overnight shifts from 4pm to 8am, providing care in a NICU environment. Job Details - Location: West Virginia - Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 - LOA: 84 days - Provider Type Needed: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, 4pm-8am (16-hour coverage) Responsibilities and Duties - Deliver advanced neonatal care in a NICU setting - Manage and monitor critically ill newborns - Perform assessments, develop care plans, and oversee treatment - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes - Respond to emergencies and provide stabilization as needed - Maintain accurate patient documentation - Adhere to all clinical protocols and standards Additional Information - Must hold an active West Virginia license - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) board certification required - Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required - Experience in Level 3 NICU environments strongly preferred Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
