Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/03/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with at least one year of recent experience, SC or compact RN license, and current ACLS and BLS certifications. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital-based Cath Lab unit with 5 Cath Lab rooms and a Hybrid OR - Manage cases including right and left heart cath diagnostic, PCI, complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, peripheral, and vascular procedures - Day shifts, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - On-call required 1-2 nights per week, plus one weekend in a six-week period; holiday call possible - EMR system used is Epic - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Previous permanent staff or PRN must have a 1-year separation from the health system before returning as a traveler - All requested time off (RTO) must be declared at the time of application; approval is based on facility needs - Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are considered at a lower rate - Participation in emergency response teams may be required during hurricane season (June–November) - Completion of pre-start online modules (average 4 hours) is required Requirements - Active SC or multi-state (compact) RN license required at contract start - Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required - Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required - Scrub experience in Cath Lab procedures preferred - Must provide a radiation badge - Epic EMR experience preferred - SSN and driver’s license required for consideration Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620259.
