Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a Level 1 trauma and teaching hospital, requiring ARRT and at least six months of trauma-level experience. Responsibilities - Work in a CT department within a Magnet-designated, Level 1 trauma teaching hospital - Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM - On-call rotation with staff is required - Floating to sister facilities and within scope to meet facility needs - Caseload varies by shift and location - Patient population includes trauma and acute care - Uses Siemens CT equipment and the Epic EMR system - Holiday rotation is required - Duties include performing CT scans for trauma and acute cases in a high-acuity environment - Team-based environment with staff collaboration and support - Mandatory teal top and black bottom scrub attire - Completion of pre-start modules required (approximately 4 hours) - Parking pass required for nights and weekends (one-time $20 fee) - All time-off requests must be disclosed prior to assignment for consideration - Previous staff (including PRN) must have a one year separation before returning as a traveler - Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility; locals considered at local rate - Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November) Requirements - Valid BLS and ARRT RT (R) (CT) credentials - SCRQSA (R) (CT) certification required - Minimum of six months Level 1 trauma CT experience required; one year of experience preferred - Experience with Siemens CT scanners required - First-time travelers accepted if previous experience in the field is demonstrated - Must provide own radiation badge - Proof of valid state licensure required at start; license required if applicable - Epic EMR experience preferred Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629766.
