Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and experience in trauma settings. Responsibilities - Work in a Level 1 Trauma, Magnet teaching hospital with 865 staffed beds - Position is for the CT department - Schedule consists of 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, with holiday rotation - On-call rotation is required with staff - Floating to sister facilities and within scope to meet facility needs is expected - Varying daily caseload per shift and location - Experience with Siemens CT equipment required - Uses Epic EMR system - Teal top and black bottom scrubs required - First-time travelers are accepted if they have prior applicable experience - Previous employees (perm or PRN) must be separated for at least 1 year before being eligible as travelers - A 60-mile radius rule applies; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate - All requested time off must be declared up front; approval is based on unit needs - Scrub colors are specified as teal top and black bottoms - Parking is available nights and weekends for a one-time $20 fee - Completion of pre-employment modules, averaging 4 hours, is required before starting - All employees, including travelers, may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June to November) Requirements - Active ARRT RT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications required; license required if applicable - BLS certification required (AHA only) - Minimum 6 months recent Level 1 Trauma experience required - At least 1 year CT experience preferred - Experience with Siemens equipment required - Radiation badge must be provided by candidate/agency - Must have state license in hand prior to start; pending licenses not accepted - Experience with Epic EMR preferred Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629767.
