Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Operating Room RN with two years of perioperative experience and a valid SC or compact RN license. Responsibilities - Work in a 9-OR ambulatory surgical center - Patient population includes Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, and Total Joints - No general surgery, labor and delivery, or pediatrics - Option for 3x12 hour shifts (6:30a-7p) or 4x10 hour shifts (6:30a-5p), days only - One late shift per 4 weeks may be required to complete cases - No weekend or on-call requirements - Possible floating within the Perioperative facility - Uses Epic EMR - Must be prepared to precept care team members in the OR as needed - All time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of application and are subject to approval based on facility needs - Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a local rate - Previous permanent or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation from the facility before returning as a traveler - First-time travelers are not being accepted - Completion of onboarding modules is required prior to start, averaging 4 hours - During hurricane season (June to November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams - Professional appearance and scrubs required Requirements - Active SC or compact RN license required for consideration - AHA BLS certification required - Minimum two years of recent operating room experience in specified surgical specialties - Experience with Epic EMR preferred - Must provide a radiation badge from parent company Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624380.
