Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/15/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology Job Details: • Work 5x8 hour shifts with varying start times between 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM and varying end times between 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM • No holiday work required • No on-call responsibilities • May be required to work 1 Saturday every 4 weeks for PETCT scans as needed • Minimum 1 year of experience required • First-time travelers accepted • Level 1 and II trauma experience preferred • Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT), SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography • Radiation badge must be provided by agency • Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including PET scans, bone scans, cardiac studies, renal imaging, and whole body scans • Work with patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics • Use Epic charting system • Dress code: Teal scrub top with black pants • Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start • May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) Facility: This is a large teaching hospital with Magnet designation and Level 1 trauma center status, featuring 865 staffed beds.
