manage patient care in an oncology setting Description: This
position is for a registered nurse specializing in oncology care.
The nurse will provide support during patient clinic appointments.
The average patient load is between 12 to 25 patients per day. No
weekends or on-call duties are required for this position. The
nurse will work exclusively in oncology clinics and will not float
between different units. Key responsibilities include administering
chemotherapy, managing ports, and patient education. The nurse will
support patients with various oncological diagnoses. Experience
with central lines, blood draws, and managing chemotherapy side
effects is essential. The work environment includes
interdisciplinary support teams for enhanced patient care. The role
may involve performing special procedures such as lumbar punctures
and biopsies. All required equipment will be provided by the
facility. Preferred experience includes a strong understanding of
outpatient oncology practices. Candidates should exhibit excellent
