Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 6 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN–OR | Charleston, SC (7-Week Contract Only) Schedule: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM | Monday–Thursday Call: 2 weekend (Saturday or Sunday) calls within 6 weeks Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality perioperative care in accordance with the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act. The RN–OR will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary team. Must be able to scrub and circulate. Key Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans - Deliver safe, patient-centered perioperative nursing care - Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to coordinate care - Educate patients and families and evaluate learning outcomes - Advocate for patients while maintaining ethical, non-judgmental practice - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Requirements: - Active SC RN license or compact license (non-SC resident) - BLS (AHA) required - Scrub & circulate experience required - BSN preferred (or required within 5 years per policy) - Ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment, including call Location: Charleston, South Carolina ?
