Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work in Ambulatory OR with flexible scheduling options: 3x12s (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) or 4x10s (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) • Day shift Monday through Friday with no weekend requirements • One late week per 4 weeks required to complete cases • No on-call requirements • Guaranteed hours with potential to be called off 10 hours per 2-week period • Minimum 2 years of OR experience required • Travel experience required • Epic charting system experience required • Required certifications: NBSTSA, BLS (radiation badge provided by parent company) • South Carolina RN license required (pending applications considered with proof) • Preferred experience in Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology • Possibility of floating within Perioperative facility • May be required to precept care team members • Work with 9 operating rooms serving adult patients • 30-hour orientation period • Must complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams • Patient ratio of 1:1 • Work with specialized equipment including lasers, Mini C-Arm, Storz video towers, and Arthrex arthroscopy towers Facility: This major academic medical center operates a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery facility featuring 9 operating rooms in the Rutledge Tower.
