Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) – Travel Assignment Location: Charleston, SC Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks) Shift: Nights, 3x12-Hour (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) Start Date: November 24, 2025 Overview A Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Charleston, South Carolina is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week night shift travel assignment. This role requires circulating experience across a wide range of surgical specialties and a strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures. Scrubbing experience in vascular and general cases is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities - Circulate cases in CT surgery, vascular, surgical oncology, plastics, colorectal, robotics, and bariatrics - Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures - Collaborate with surgical teams and support staff to optimize outcomes - Document accurately using EPIC charting system - Comply with hospital protocols, including emergency response during hurricane season - Float as needed within the facility Required Qualifications - Active South Carolina or multi-state RN license (must be in hand at contract start) - Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience - BLS and ACLS certifications (must be AHA-approved) - Radiation badge required (provided by agency) - Ability to circulate all listed surgical specialties - Willingness to work holiday coverage as needed Preferred Qualifications - Scrubbing experience in vascular and general cases - Experience in high-acuity surgical environments - EPIC charting proficiency Additional Information - First-time travelers not preferred - Locals accepted within 60-mile radius - RTO must be submitted at time of application; approvals based on department needs - Facility may call off traveler up to one shift per pay period - Hurricane season runs June–November; emergency response participation may be required About The Judge Group Judge Healthcare, a division of The Judge Group, bridges the talent divide for companies and organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, providing resources and specialized roles such as travel nurses, allied health professionals, locum tenens, and more.
