Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,699 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 6:1 Description: The position requires a Medical Surgical Float Pool RN. Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. Weekend shifts are required; a minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts must be worked within a schedule. Holiday rotation is necessary. Floating to medical surgical floors is required. Patient ratios may vary depending on the assigned unit. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. No on-call requirements exist for this role. Accommodations may be made for block scheduling upon manager approval, based on unit needs. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis. If time off is planned, it must be submitted prior to application. Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season occurs from June through November, with peak activity from August to September. Modules are non-billable, with an average of four hours spent, included in non-billable hours. Candidates must not have planned time off that would delay compliance completion before the proposed start date. Preference will be given to those with an active South Carolina RN license. Travelers must submit proof of application if the license is pending. All candidates must comply with the hospital’s guidelines regarding time off requests.
