ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PCU Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Holiday shifts as needed • Weekend requirement: 4-5 weekend shifts in a 4-week period as needed • No on-call requirements • Patient ratios: 1:3 to 1:4 based on acuity • Float within scope to meet facility needs • Minimum 1 year of experience required • First-time travelers accepted • South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH (American Heart Association only) • PCU/Stepdown experience required • Dress code: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms • EPIC charting system • Skills include blood product administration, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, oxygen administration, and rapid response team utilization • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Weekend call-outs require makeup shifts within 7-10 days • May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) Facility: This Level I Trauma Center is a teaching facility and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The facility operates a 9E PCU RN Neuroscience unit within the main hospital, providing progressive care services for neurological patients.
