East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician to join a private practice in the area. While an experienced provider is preferred, new grads are welcome to apply! Position Details: New - Outpatient Only position Join 2 MDs plus 2 FNPs General Practice - No Obstetrics Practice Call - 1:3 (telephone only) Single location, located in small town southeast of Statesboro Existing office space offers sufficient room for expansion Practice has long, well-respected history in the community Statesboro is a simple 50-minute drive to Savannah! The hospital offers a 24-hour emergency department, a Level II neonatal center, same-day surgery and ambulatory care, a pain management center, a wound care clinic, two cardiac catheterization labs, and state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures including digital mammography, MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, and interventional cardiology/radiology. There are 9 OBGYNs, 21 PCPs, and 3 General Surgeons on staff. Large referral base. Robust hospitalist program with 10 Hospitalists (8 daytimers and 2 nocturnists).
