Responsibilities /t - /t Provide intermediate-level nursing care to
neuroscience patients in a Progressive Care/Stepdown unit /t /t -
/t Monitor and manage patients with neurological conditions,
adjusting care based on acuity /t /t - /t Perform comprehensive
assessments, monitor neurological status, and document patient care
accurately /t /t - /t Collaborate with physicians and the
interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient
care /t /t - /t Float within scope to comparable units as needed to
meet facility staffing requirements /t Required Qualifications /t -
/t Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN
license /t /t - /t Minimum of 1 year of PCU or Stepdown nursing
experience /t /t - /t Prior experience caring for
intermediate-acuity patients /t /t - /t Ability to float within
scope of practice as needed /t Current Certifications /t - /t BLS
(American Heart Association only) /t /t - /t ACLS (American Heart
Association only) /t /t - /t NIHSS (American Heart Association
only) /t Preferred Qualifications /t - /t Experience in a
Neuroscience PCU or Stepdown unit /t /t - /t Strong neurological
assessment and critical thinking skills /t /t - /t Familiarity with
Epic electronic medical record system /t Distance Requirement /t -
