HCA Healthcare invites applications for the position of RN Surgical Services PRN, designated for on-call duties. This role is pivotal in providing top-notch surgical care at our advanced facilities. The selected candidate will be instrumental in supporting surgical teams in various capacities, adapting to dynamic operating room environments, and ensuring the delivery of patient-centered care consistent with our mission to improve human life. This position requires a commitment to on-call availability that suits the unpredictable nature of surgical needs, ensuring swift, efficient, and compassionate responses during scheduled on-call periods. Provide on-call nursing support for surgical procedures. Prepare operating rooms and patients for surgery and assist during procedures. Ensure all surgical tools and supplies adhere to sterilization standards. Monitor patient vital signs and maintain accurate records throughout surgical procedures. Collaborate closely with surgeons and surgical staff to facilitate a high standard of patient care. Participate in post-operative care and patient education regarding at-home care requirements. Proficiency in operating room protocols and equipment Strong ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Capability to perform under pressure with meticulous attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
