Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school in Bluffton, SC is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students from January through June. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary and middle school students by supporting their developmental, sensory, and motor needs within the educational environment. Responsibilities: - Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in K-12 settings - Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) - Conduct assessments to identify student needs and monitor progress - Adapt activities and provide interventions to enhance students participation and academic success - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district regulations Qualifications: - Valid Occupational Therapist license and qualifications to practice in a school setting - Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in elementary and middle school environments - Knowledge of educational and therapeutic strategies relevant to a K-12 population - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to manage workload effectively within a contracted timeframe Location: - Bluffton, South Carolina, serving two campuses in the area Benefits: - Engagement in a dynamic school environment supporting student growth - Opportunity to positively impact childrens daily school experience and developmental outcomes - Contract position with defined work schedule of 37.5 hours per week This position is a key resource for supporting student success and well-being through occupational therapy.
