Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week • Minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts required per schedule • Holiday rotation required • Float to medical surgical floors at the Main hospital and Ashley River tower • Patient ratios may vary depending on unit assigned (typically 1:6) • 2 years of nursing experience required • First-time travelers accepted • South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required • BLS certification required • Must wear solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms • Charting system: EPIC • Skills required: Starting and maintaining IVs, Med/Surg nursing, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE • Care for adult patients • Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Block schedules may be accommodated with manager approval • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams Facility: This healthcare organization is a Level I Trauma Center and teaching facility with Magnet Hospital designation, featuring 820 staffed beds.
