ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PICU Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Up to 5 weekend shifts per schedule required (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) • Holiday requirement if contract period includes holidays • Patient ratios vary: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 depending on ICU and step-down patient mix • Float within scope to meet facility needs • 2 years of PICU experience required • First time travelers accepted • ECMO and CRRT experience preferred • South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required • Required certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only) • Charge experience preferred • EPIC charting system experience preferred • Level I Trauma experience preferred • Care for pediatric patients ages 0-18 with medical and surgical diagnoses • Manage complex cases including respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative patients, and neurology/neurosurgery • Work with advanced equipment including ventilators, ECMO, CRRT, and dialysis • Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • All RTO must be submitted at time of application • 12 hours of orientation required • May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) • Non-billable modules averaging 4 hours completed pre-start Facility: This Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated teaching facility operates an 820-bed hospital system providing comprehensive pediatric critical care services.
