Job Description Job Description ob Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team in Charleston, SC. The MRI Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI equipment, ensuring high-quality scans and patient care. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI scans as directed by the physician or radiologist. Operate MRI equipment and ensure proper functioning. Prepare examination rooms with necessary equipment and supplies. Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation. Monitor patient condition during scans and respond to any emergencies. Process and review images for diagnostic quality. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards. Stay updated with advancements in MRI technology and practices. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Current certification as an MRI Technologist. Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiologic imaging. Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and related software. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
