Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM (Saturday, Sunday and 1 weekday) /n• No on-call requirements /n• Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units/sister facilities /n• 2 years of experience strongly preferred, first-timers accepted /n• Scrub experience strongly preferred /n• Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by agency) /n• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required /n• Level 1 trauma experience required /n• RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures /n• Work with all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics /n• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends /n• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients /n• Use EPIC charting system /n• Facility provided scrubs /n• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks /n• Block schedule accommodation requires manager approval based on unit needs /n• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) /n/n Facility: /n This Level I trauma center and academic teaching facility is a Magnet-designated hospital with 820 staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties with cutting-edge technology. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists in a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven department.
