Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South
Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU -
Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days -

Details: • Work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM •
Every other weekend and holiday rotation required • Patient ratio
of 1:3 or 1:4 on nights depending on staffing • Float within scope
to meet facility needs • 1 year of recent experience required •
First-time travelers accepted • South Carolina or
Multi-State/Compact State RN License required • Required
certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH (American Heart Association only) •
12 hours of orientation provided • Facility may call off 1 shift
per 2 weeks • Must be available during hurricane season
(June-November) for emergency response teams • Block schedule
requests require manager approval • Dress code: Solid royal blue or
white top with royal blue bottoms • EPIC charting system • Care for
adult and geriatric patients on 22-bed transplant PCU unit • Manage
pre- and post-operative transplant patients (liver, kidney,
kidney/pancreas) • Work with nephrology and urology patients •
Monitor patients with arterial lines and specialized drips in 5
stepdown beds • Must become ACLS certified and proficient in
peritoneal dialysis within first 6 months • Skills include wound
care, PICC line management, hemodialysis management, and cardiac
